Ailleron has launched the mobile app iLumio Mobile Concierge in the Valamar hotel chain. It is the most advanced hotel app available for smartphones of hotel guests in the whole world.
Starting June Valamar’s guests will be able to use state-of-the-art solutions in the field of digital service for hotel guests. The mobile app My Valamar will allow e.g. for online check-in, opening the hotel doors with the guests’ own smartphones or even booking one of the hundreds of interesting opportunities to spend their free time during their stay.
Valamar Riviera is a leader in the Croatian hotel industry and owns 30 resorts and 12 camping sites. It offers excellent service in attractive spots along the Adriatic coast – on Istria, the islands Krk and Rab as well as all the way down in Dubrovnik. Guests of the most renowned hotels in Croatia can already use the My Valamar app.
The first hotel to implement the system was an exceptional resort located on the private island Sveti Nikola with a stunning view over the town of Poreć – Isabella Island Resort. Guests of this hotel are now able to check into the hotel from anywhere in the world using the app (mobile check-in). It also enables mobile check-out and online payments. Opening the hotel door by simply using a smartphone app is one of the many functionalities that will make the visitors’ stay more comfortable.
Thanks to the implementation of the iLumio system, guests have constant access to their balance and to the amount of points accumulated in the loyalty program. A special Calendar contains all information regarding events and interesting places that are sent to every hotel guest individually based on their own preferences. Booking a restaurant table, reserving a sunbed near the pool or a SPA service was never this easy, transparent and intuitive – only one click is enough to order the given option.
Additionally, the hotel Staff is now able to adequately target and send personalized special offers to guests by using the app.
The iLumio Mobile Concierge app has also been integrated with many systems already present at the hotel, like e.g. Opera or the hotel lock system Adria.
Soon, another feature will be implemented – an interactive video conversation with the hotel concierge. This service will be available at any given hour in the preferred language of the guest, which is a huge advantage for them because they do not necessarily have to go to the reception to acquire information.
The My Valamar app will gradually be implemented in the remaining resorts of the Valamar hotel chain. The app is available in both the Google Play Store and the App Store.
Our cooperation with Valamar Riviera is one of the most ambitious projects in the hospitality industry ever because of its scale and complexity. By the end of 2018, iLumio is scheduled to operate in a staggering number of 14 premium resorts of the Croatian chain. The choice of our solution was not only decided by being the most advanced hotel app in the world, but also thanks to the possibility of being integrated with many systems like PMS, BMS, Adria Electronics locks and the TV and digital signage systems. According to our contract, the client will receive an integrated hotel management system operated from one source and enabling a quality of service never seen before on the market. iLumio will make it possible for the Valamar Riviera Group to create a more personalized offer for its customers. Data gathered on preferences of specific hotel guests will result in special discounts being offered and dedicated propositions being available in the internal loyalty program of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel staff will receive information on the guests’ likes and dislikes which will make it drastically more effective. With that, iLumio is now present in another key foreign market in the hospitality industry.
