Onoma Hotel – personalized stay with iLumio

In January 2021, a unique facility appeared on the hotel map of Greece. This hotel surprised its guests with a unique experience and a truly exceptional level of customer service.


We are talking here about Onoma Hotel ( located in the heart of the Greek port city of Thessaloniki. A modern 5-star concept designed to provide comfortable, and what is especially important nowadays – calm and safe conditions during their guests’ stay. 


The iLumio team is particularly proud of the pivotal roles the iLumio technology has played in enabling this top level experience at the Onoma Hotel. This project guarantees the guests  freedom to move around the hotel, and thanks to the application installed on a tablet and the hotel TV system, it significantly improves the comfort of stay by enabling guests to resolve many matters without needing to leave their rooms.


The iLumio Smart Room App launched in the hotel is a convenient tool to take care of the atmosphere in the room. Thanks to the integration with the KNX building automation system, it is possible to control the temperature, lights and window blinds. The application also gives the guests quick and frictionless contact with the hotel staff while also allowing guests to order products and services directly from the room.


The iLumio TV system provides access to multimedia and information provided in a modern way, directly on LG TV sets, all of which can be controlled with a Smart Room App installed on the tablet. 


Both solutions are managed from one place – the iLumio CMS. Thanks to this system, it is possible to conveniently provide relevant content and communicate with the guests.
